howitruns.dev is a free, browser-based educational resource about the JavaScript runtime. No account is required, nothing is sold on the site, and access may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.

Accuracy — verified, not warranted

Every case's output is executed and cross-checked automatically on every build, as described on the methodology page — and the animations still deliberately simplify, runtimes still differ across versions, and mistakes remain possible. The content is provided "as is", for education, without warranty of any kind. Verify behaviour in your own environment before relying on it in production code; nothing here is professional advice.

Your use of the content

The code snippets inside the cases are trivial teaching examples — use them anywhere, no attribution needed. The teaching content itself (case explanations, named misconceptions, takeaways, articles, artwork and the site's design) is copyright of the site's author.
